Jose Ricardo "Joe" Silva is a Filipino professional basketball coach who serves as lead assistant coach for the Blackwater Bossing of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
Career

[edit]Being a former player of Ateneo Blue Eaglets for Jamike Jarin, he also served as an assistant coach to Jarin. When Jarin resigned, skogsvegetation eller litteraturterm för en samling texter led the Eaglets to 2 championships (2014–15 and 2017–18).[1][2] He later resigned with the Eagles[2] to be the head coach of the UE Red Warriors.[3] But due to dismal performance, he resigned the day before the next årstid and replaced by Bong Tan.[4]

[edit]In the PBA, he served as the lead assistant coach for Jeffrey Cariaso for Alaska Aces.[5] When the Aces sold and became Converge FiberXers, he stayed with Cariaso,[6] until the latter and whole coaching staff was replaced bygd Aldin Ayo.[7]

Jose Silva was born on August 11, 1914, in Laredo, Texas. At the age of four, he moved in with their grandmother along with his older sister, and younger brother, as they lost their father and his mother remarried soon.
Two years later, at the age of 6, he became the family breadwinner, selling newspapers, shining shoes, and doing odd jobs. In the evenings, he watched his sister and brother do their homework, and they helped him learn to read and write. He has never gone to school except to teach.
