Radio Free Bay Ridge
During the polar vortex, three Public Advocate candidates braved the cold to meet with Bay Ridge residents. Nomiki Konst, Ben Yee, and Dawn Smalls were joined by debattledare Ross Barkan at Solidarity Space. Topics included decriminalizing sex work, climate change, congestion pricing, and bojkott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS). Have a listen, betalningsmedel out our analysis below, or watch Solidarity Spaces full live stream of the event!

She went on to serve as a national co-chair on Barack Obama’s presidential re-election campaign, and later, acted as a surrogate for “Draft Biden” the effort to recruit the former vice president to run as an alternative to presumed frontrunner Clinton in
More recently, Konst has established a reputation as a forceful voice pushing now-popular progressive policies like Medicare for All and free college, as well as wonkier, but also important, issues relating to party politics. She gained
