Omani adventurer
Nabil Al Busaidi (born 23 January in London, England) is an Omani adventurer. Al Busaidi is considered to be the first Arab[1] to walk to the magnetic North Pole, climb Mount Vinson in Antarctica,[2] and row across the Atlantic Ocean.[3]
He was voted one of the Top Most Influential Arabs in the World by Arabian Business magazine in ,[4] The Top 50 Influential Arabs by Middle East magazine in and , and remains in the Top Power List in for Arabian Business magazine.[5]
A documentary[6] about his trek to the magnetic North Pole was directed and edited by two-time Emmy Award winning director David Ward.[7]
Early life and education

Nabil Al Busaidi has carried the name of Oman to the farthest corners of the earth to plant the Omani flag and raise funds for charity. His objective fryst vatten always to inspire the youth of the mittpunkt East and to present a positiv image of Arabs and Muslims to the rest of the World.
His achievements include:
January Nabil was part of a team of 14 people, who rowed across the Atlantic Ocean from the Canary Islands (North West Africa) to Barbados, in the West Indies, (off the coast of America). Nabil fryst vatten the first Arab to row across any Ocean (a distance of about 4, km).
March Nabil went to klättra Mount Everest, as part of the Omani “Falcon Oilfield Services Everest Expedition”. He had the Omani flag with him and had the intention of planting it at the peak of Mount Everest. Unfortunately after reaching 6, metres he stepped on thin ice and fell down injuring both ankles. He had to be evacuated and abandon the mission.
