Juan Antonio Gaitan
Juan Antonio Gaitan born on January 2, went peacefully home to the Lord on October 22, Juan spent his childhood in Harlingen Texas. He moved to Chicago Illinois when he was a teenager. He attended Harrison High School where he met his wife Virginia. After graduation Juan enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served his country proudly during the Vietnam War. After serving his country, he was hired at ElectroMotive, married Virginia and raised a family. He was transferred to Allison Transmission in and has resided in Mooresville, Indiana for the past 30 years. Juan retired from General Motors after 38 years of employment. His hobbies included woodworking, fishing, watching the Indianapolis Colts and spending time with his grandchildren. His ideas, known as Gaitanismo, are considered a form of liberal socialism in Colombia.
