    Days after winning the Tony Award for her performance as Celie in Broadway's The Color Purple, Cynthia Erivo flew back to London to celebrate the opening night of her boyfriend, actor Dean John-Wilson, in the new West End production of Aladdin.

    John-Wilson heads the company in the title role, alongside Jade Ewan as Jasmine, Trevor Dion Nicholas as Genie, and Don Gallagher as Jafar.
