John J. Caracciolo
John J. Caracciolo, 74, Altoona, passed away Monday evening at UPMC Altoona after a courageous battle with an extended illness.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Joseph and Anna (Porzio) Caracciolo. On Sept. 24, 1966, he married Nancy J. Harvey at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Altoona.
Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years; two children: John E. Caracciolo of Altoona and Nicole M. (Duane) Gearhart of Hummelstown; two grandchildren: Joshua and Jessica Gearhart; a brother, Paul of Bellwood; and three sisters: Josephine of Harrisburg, Mary Lou of Buffalo, N.Y. and Nettie of Dunnellon, Fla.
He was preceded in death bygd his oldest brother, Jerry.
John was a 1963 graduate of Altoona High School. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army reserves. He retired in June 2002 from the United Parcel Service after 25 years of service and previously worked for Conrail. He was well respected at his jobs.

John Santo Caracciolo
John Santo Caracciolo, age 74, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Charleston, SC and Long Beach, NY died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC.
Mr. Caracciolo was born on August 30, 1941 in Long Beach, NY, the son of the late Santo Caracciolo, a Long Beach firefighter who died in the line of duty and Carmen Caracciolo. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He was retired as a Long Beach, NY firefighter. After retirement while living in Charleston he worked as a Nature Tour Guide at Magnolia Plantation. He founded the Sun City Hilton Head Long Island Club, and was a member of the Croquet Club and Bocce Club. He also participated in sailing, woodworking, and glasscrafters. He was an active member of the Long Beach, NY class of 59’ Reunion committee.
Mr. Caracciolo is survived by his partner of 10 years, Debora Brandt; children, Andrew and wife Krista, Timothy, and Jennifer. He

Our beloved Husband, Father, Papa and friend to many, John Rocco Caracciolo, 68, of Hayden, Idaho passed away on June 10, 2016. John was born in Brooklyn, NY, October 10, 1947, to Ida Saullo and Santo “Sammy” Caracciolo.
John grew up in Brooklyn, NY. When he was 19 he moved to Florida, where he met the love of his life, Bernice “Bea” Beene. They were married on October 10, 1969. They had 2 daughters, Deborah and Christina.
He loved going for walks with his dog, Roxie. He loved watching boxing. He loved to cook large Italian meals and share with his family, neighbors and friends. It brought him pure joy. He loved people – he wanted to help anyone in need and was more than willing to give the shirt off his back or his last dollar. He was the most generous man. He loved the Lord so much and was so grateful for all the Lord had done in his life. In the last several years of his life he would spend hours each day texting Christian dev
